A relative of Queen of Britain Elizabeth II has been sentenced to 10 months in prison for sexually assaulting a woman in her ancestral home in Scotland. In February 2020, the Earl of Strathmore, Simon Bovj-Lyon, admitted the crime of sexually assaulting a woman in the bedroom of Glamis Castle.

There, he forcibly entered a woman’s room during an event hosted by her. The woman was sleeping at that time. Lyon, 34, was sentenced by the Dundee Sheriff Court after admitting his crime. According to BBC news, Sheriff Alastair Carmishall told Layon in court that he repeatedly ignored the victim’s pleas during the attack.

Victim has scary dreams

The court said that even now, even after a year, the victim often has scary dreams and is scared because you sexually assaulted her. This has also affected his mood. Last month, Lyon admitted his guilt (guilt) for committing the punishment, saying that a guest in my house is feeling embarrassed because of facing such a situation.

He said that he had drunk too much that night but it could not be an excuse for what he did. Please tell that this incident took place on 13 February last year.
