Claims many but no proof
According to the news, 260 storms come here every year. In these 260 days, lightning flashes here all night every day. Many times videos and photos of this place have gone viral on social media. These are a challenge for hurricanes and electricity science.
Many claims were made about lightning. In 1960, scientists admitted that due to the high amount of uranium in the area, more lightning flashes here. At the same time some scientists believed that this happens due to the abundant methane in the area. However, sufficient evidence could not be found to prove any theory.
