Coal India
Coal dispatches by Coal India to sectors such as captive power plants and cement registered a decline in May as compared to a year ago. Fuel supply by Coal India to captive power plants declined by 39.74 per cent in May 2022 as compared to the year-ago period, while dispatches to the cement sector declined by 16.74 per cent.
Vedanta
Metal sector company Vedanta has said that a committee of directors has approved raising up to Rs 4089 crore through debentures on private placement basis. The company will issue 40,890 secured, rated, listed, redeemable, non convertible debentures (NCDs) of face value of Rs 10,00,000.
V-Guard Industries
SBI Mutual Fund through its multiple schemes has acquired 59,171 equity shares in V-Guard Industries through open market transactions on June 2. With this, its stake in the company increased to 9.04 per cent, from 9.027 per cent earlier.

SEBI has revoked the securities market ban imposed on Poonawalla Finance Managing Director Abhay Bhutada in a case related to alleged insider trading activities in the shares of Magma Fincorp (now known as Poonawalla Fincorp).
