IT sector giant TCS is going to release its results for the June quarter today. The company’s revenue is expected to increase by 4-5 percent on a quarterly basis. The company had a revenue of Rs 50,591 crore during the March quarter, while the profit was Rs 9926 crore.
Tata Power
Tata Power has announced an investment of over Rs 75,000 crore in renewable energy over the next 5 years. Chairman N Chandrasekaran said the company aims to generate 30 GW of power generation capacity during the same period, of which more than half comes from clean energy sources.

Jaguar Land Rover has sold 78,825 units for the three-month period ended June 2022. This is 37 percent less than the previous quarter and flat growth on a quarterly basis. Despite a record order book of 2 lakh units, sales were hampered due to chip shortage globally.

Vedanta has said that it will acquire debt-ridden Athena Chhattisgarh Power Limited for Rs 564.67 crore. The process of liquidation for the company was started in March last year.
