Two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp sold 4.85 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters in June 2022, an increase of 3.3 per cent from 4.69 lakh units on a year-on-year basis. During the quarter ended June 2022, the company sold 13.90 lakh units, a growth of 35.7 compared to the same period last year.
Mahindra & Mahindra
Mahindra & Mahindra sold 54,096 vehicles in June 2022. This is an increase of 64 per cent on an annual basis. Exports in June were 2,777 vehicles, up 7 per cent year-on-year. The company sold 41,848 tractors in June 2022, 13 percent less than the 48,222 units sold in the same month last year.
NTPC
NTPC’s arm NTPC Renewable Energy (NREL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan government to develop a 10 GW Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park (UMREPP) in the state. NTPC Group has set a target of 60 GW renewable energy capacity by 2032.
CSB Bank
CSB Bank recorded a year-on-year growth of 16.16 per cent in Gross Advances for the quarter ended June 2022 to Rs 16,332.8 crore. At the same time, total deposits increased by 8.65 percent to Rs 20,266.8 crore.
Eicher Motors
Eicher Motors sold 61,407 units of Royal Enfield in June 2022, which is 43 per cent more than the 43,048 units sold in the same month last year. At the same time, there was 54 percent growth in exports on a yearly basis. In the June quarter, the company sold 1,87,205 units of Royal Enfield, which is 51 percent higher on a year-on-year basis.
