Mueksh Ambani Succession Plan: Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance, the country’s largest company by market cap, is working fast on handing over business responsibility to the new generation. After handing over the business responsibility of Reliance Jio to son Akash Ambani, now daughter Isha Ambani will be given the responsibility of Reliance Retail. Isha will be made the chairman of Reliance’s retail unit. It can be announced soon. At present Isha is the Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited.

Son Akash Ambani has got the command of Reliance Jio
A day earlier, the command of Reliance Jio was handed over to Akash Ambani. He has been made the chairman of Reliance’s telecom arm Jio. Before Akash, the chairman of Jio was Mukesh Ambani, after whose resignation he has got this responsibility. Akash Ambani was already working as a director in Reliance Jio and now he has been given the responsibility of chairman. Akash and Isha have played a big role in taking Jio forward. Both of them were part of the team that received a huge investment from the meta platform (formerly Facebook). 30-year-old Isha is educated at Yale University. After Akash and Isha, they have a 27-year-old younger brother, Anant.

Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio are the subsidiaries of Reliance.
Both Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio are subsidiaries of Reliance Industries. Mukesh Ambani is the chairman and MD of Reliance. Reliance is the largest company in the country in terms of market cap. Its market cap is more than Rs 17 lakh crore. It does business from oil to telecom sector.
