This is good news for homebuyers of Amrapali Group. Amrapali’s biggest project located in Noida and Greater Noida will now fulfill the dream of home buyers. The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), tasked with completing the unfinished projects of Amrapal Group, will soon start selling the flats. Sources told Moneycontrol that 52 units (46 residential and six commercial) are ready for sale in Amrapali’s total projects located in Noida and Greater Noida.
Explain that after the Supreme Court order, the government-run construction company NBCC is taking over the completion of Amrapali projects. Sources said that Amrapali’s pending work has almost been completed by NBCC. He said that about 56 crore rupees are expected to be recovered from the sale of these projects. Residential units comprise five villas and 27 penthouses ranging from about Rs 64 lakh to Rs 2.04 crore.
While six commercial units are also up for sale. Sources said that applications for this are open till 10 March and the booking amount is Rs 5 lakh. Amrapali Group is accused of misappropriating funds invested by people in the name of giving flats. The Supreme Court then handed over the case and ordered that for the first time the auction would be held under the supervision of the court, after which 38,159 people would get their house by the end of 2023 from the NBCC.
