Aadhar card holders can change the mobile number on their Aadhar card from the comfort of their homes. India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) said that the service of changing mobile number has been launched. Now you can make changes in mobile number in Aadhar card by calling your home postman. Now you will not need to go out of the house, you can do the work related to Aadhaar at home.
Aadhar card holders can update the mobile number in their Aadhaar by calling the postman at home. IPPB said that this facility will be available in 650 of their branches. 146000 postmen and gramin dak sevaks will be available for this service.
Now a resident Aadhaar holder can get his mobile number updated in Aadhaar by the postman at his door step.

At present IPPB is providing only mobile update service and will soon enroll children through its network. Along with Aadhar card update, Postman and Gramin Dak Seva provides many banking services.

UIDAI CEO Saurabh Garg said that it is continuously working to make Aadhaar linked service easier. Now he is providing the service of updating mobile service at your home through IPPB.
Venkatram, CEO of IPPB said that through this service, the areas where banking service is not available, will work to provide the service of the bank in those areas. Will act as a bridge between delivering digital services.
