Royal Enfield has increased the prices of its adventure tourer Himalayan. After this increase, the bike has become expensive by about Rs 5000 at its current price. The Chennai-based mid-size bike maker had last hiked the prices in July this year. This increase has been done for all the color variants and it is same for all the six colors.
Granite Black Variant, which was priced at Rs 2,13,273, now buyers will have to pay Rs 2,18,273 for it.
Pine Green Variant The price will also increase from Rs 2,13,273 to Rs 2,18,273.
rock red variant It was priced at Rs 2,09,529, which is now priced at Rs 2,14,529.
lake blue variant Its price has also increased from Rs 2,09,529 to Rs 2,14,529.
Granite Gray Variants It is priced at Rs 2,10,784 as against Rs 2,05,784 earlier.
miraj silver The price will also increase from Rs 2,05,784 to Rs 2,10,784.
The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan was launched in February this year. The bike got several different technical upgrades and three new colors – Pine Green, Granite Black and Mirage Silver were also added.
The bike also gets new tripper navigation, which was first given in the Meteor 350. The launch price was fixed at Rs 2,01,314 (ex-showroom Chennai).
The powertrain remains the same as the previous BS6 variant. The bike comes with a 411cc single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 24.3 bhp power at 6500 rpm. The bike produces 32Nm of peak torque in the range of 4000 to 4500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Himalayan comes with a new seat, windscreen and rear carrier. The front rack of the bike has also been modified to accommodate the jerry cans. The new Tripper navigation system will allow users to get turn-by-turn directions, which can be linked to the users’ smartphones. The Tripper Navigation Pod will operate from Google Maps and Royal Enfield App.
