Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot successfully underwent angioplasty at the Sawai Man Singh Government Hospital in Jaipur on Friday following severe chest pain. CM’s health is now improving. Lokesh Sharma, Special Officer to the Chief Minister and State Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas tweeted and informed about the success of the operation.
In the health bulletin issued by the hospital, it was told that the Chief Minister’s angioplasty has been successful. Now his tests are normal. After angioplasty, he will be kept under observation for 24 hours. The CM has been advised to stay in the hospital for 2 to 3 days. They are feeling better now.
After complaining of sudden severe chest pain on Thursday night, Gehlot reached Sawai Man Singh Hospital on Friday morning where he was examined. According to the doctors, he has heart related disease.

Chief Minister’s spokesperson tweeted that Chief Minister’s angioplasty was done successfully. Earlier, Gehlot also told through a tweet that he would be undergoing angioplasty.
He said in the tweet that I was having health problems since Covid and since yesterday I was having severe pain in my chest. Just got my CT NGO done in Sawai Man Singh Hospital. Angioplasty will be done.
The Chief Minister said that I am happy that I am getting this (angioplasty) done at Sawai Man Singh Hospital. I am fine and will be back soon. Your blessings and best wishes are with me.
