Oppo has partnered with Anker and FAW-Volkswagen as part of the Flash initiative. This partnership has been done between FAW Group and Volkswagen to sell cars in China.
Oppo Flash Charging
Oppo is one of those tech companies who have made every effort to improve smartphone technology. OPPO’s most powerful technology is VOOC fast charging. Its latest edition is that your battery can be charged within just 20 minutes. But now the company is taking its smartphone technology out of the phone. The company has started a new program called Flash Initiative. The company announced this at Mobile World Congress Shanghai. Oppo said that, he is working to spread his technology to more and more people.
Oppo has partnered with Anker and FAW-Volkswagen as part of the Flash initiative. This partnership has been done between FAW Group and Volkswagen to sell cars in China. This means that VOOC flash charging technology will be used by these two companies in the Chinese market. Oppo wants its charging technology to be used in public places as well.
Oppo technology will be used in cars and accessories
While Anker will use this technology of Oppo in its mobile accessories, FAW-Volkswagen will use this technology in their cars. No information has been revealed about Audi vehicles at the moment. VOOC charging solution has been available on Oppo phones for quite some time. It was launched in 2014, and Oppo introduced more than 30 smartphone models, suggesting that VOOC has so far provided an ultra-fast charging experience to over 175 million users worldwide.
OPPO responds to Qualcomm
Oppo said it has filed more than 2,950 patents for flash charge globally, of which 1,400 are already approved. Some of these patents may refer to OPPO’s plans to open up technology to third parties. OPPO’s VOOC flash charging is a response to Qualcomm’s QuickCharge technology that is available to many smartphone manufacturers who use the company’s chipset on their phones.
Last year, Oppo demonstrated the fastest charging technology for its smartphones called Flash Charge. This phone uses 125W output power for charging, which is said to give full charge of 4000mAh battery within 20 minutes.
