The Bihar Cabinet Expansion headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expanded. BJP’s national spokesperson and former Union minister Shahnawaz Hussain, who was elected to the Bihar Legislative Council last year, was sworn in as a member of Nitish Kumar’s cabinet on Tuesday. He was administered the first oath by Governor Fagu Chauhan at the swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan during the much-awaited expansion of the Nitish cabinet. The 84-day-old BJP-JDU government in Bihar got its first extension on Tuesday. In this expansion, nine new faces from the BJP and eight from the JDU were included in the cabinet.
Apart from Shahnawaz Hussain from the BJP, Samrat Chaudhary, Subhash Singh, Alok Ranjan Jha, Pramod Kumar, Pranod Kumar, Janak Ram, Narayan Prasad (Narayan Prasad) ), Nitin Naveen, Neeraj Singh Bablu have been made ministers. At the same time, former minister Shravan Kumar has been made a minister once again on behalf of JDU.
Apart from this, Lacey Singh, Sanjay Jha, Madan Sahni also joined the cabinet as Nitish’s associate. Independents Sumit Singh, Jayant Raj and Sunil Kumar have also sworn in as ministers. Both the constituents of the NDA, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal United (JDU), handed over the list of their 17 new ministers to the Governor. After this, the total number of ministers has increased to 31.
Both BJP or JDU have tried to please all sections of society in the new cabinet expansion. The special thing is that both the parties of the alliance have given each Muslim face a place in the cabinet from their quota. On the expansion of the cabinet, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has congratulated all the new ministers. The Chief Minister said that those who have taken the oath should discharge the service and responsibilities of Bihar with full devotion.
