The G West office of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation was inaugurated by the Chief Minister today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister praised BMC for handling the situation of Corona in Mumbai well. During this, he also made a statement about the corona ban and local. He said that there is a demand from the citizens to relax the restrictions everywhere.
Thackeray further said that where restrictions can be relaxed, such a decision is being taken. But in some places it is incurable. Along with this, starting a local train is being considered. After assessing the situation of corona in Mumbai and adjoining areas, it will be decided to start local with responsibility. He said that the traders of those districts where restrictions have not been relaxed should not break the rules but should exercise restraint.
On the other hand, Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve has given a statement regarding Mumbai local train today. He said that the decision to start local is to be taken by the state government. The state government is handling the situation of Corona. Therefore, after assessing the situation there, we will take a decision on it immediately after the state government requests to start the local at full capacity. Therefore, in this context also the statement of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is considered important.
