AbhiBus, an online e-ticketing site, has partnered with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to sell bus tickets to IRCTC customers. According to a press note, Partnership will allow IRCT to access bus inventories on 1 lakh bus routes, giving its customers the option of booking AC or non-AC buses according to their needs.
IRTC plans to make it easier for its customers to book travel, in which if their train ticket is in waiting, they can easily take advantage of the bus facility through online booking. Its integration into the IRCTC mobile app will be completed by March. In addition, customers can choose their pick-up and drop points at a reasonable price, with the benefit of ongoing discounts on the bank and e-wallet.
