A BJP leader said that Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani fell on the dais while addressing a rally organized in Nizampura area of Vadodara on Sunday. Rupani was given first aid on the first stage. He was later seen descending the stage stairs. This was Vijay Rupani’s third political rally in Vadodara. According to media reports, Rupani collapsed while giving a speech while he was addressing a public meeting. His security guards immediately caught him. He was given first aid. He was then taken to a hospital in Ahmedabad.

It is being told that he was not well. But instead of canceling the rally held in Jamnagar on Saturday and Vadodara on Sunday, he chose to address the people. At the same time, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan tweeted that the news of Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani ji was unwell and at the same time it was informed that he is under the supervision of doctors and is now feeling better. On receiving the news of Rupani falling on the platform, PM Modi spoke to the CM and inquired about his health. According to an official statement, PM Modi has asked Rupani to conduct a thorough investigation and rest.
Explain that the elections of six municipal corporations including Vadodara will be held on February 21, while elections to municipalities, districts and taluka panchayats will be held on February 28.
