Fastag vehicles do not need to stop. Money is deducted from their Fastag account.
Fastag has become mandatory across the country since midnight. A driver at the Niamatpur Ikarotia toll plaza on the Delhi-Lucknow National Highway said, “Trains are not allowed to go without fastag. According to a government statement, if the trains which do not have FASTag or FASTag are not working, then M and N category trains will have to pay the double toll.

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has created more than 40,000 setters across the country. From here you can buy FASTag by showing your required documents. FASTag centers have also been built along the toll plaza. With this you can buy FASTag from banks too. For this, the government has selected 23 banks. From where you can buy Syndicate Bank, Axis Bank, IDFC Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India SBI) and ICICI Bank are among the list of 23 banks. Apart from offline, you can also buy FASTag online.
