The state CM Uddhav Thackeray has held a meeting with the Covid-19 task force. Officials said that the meeting discussed the rise of infection in the state in the last few weeks. Uddhav Thackeray has expressed concern over the growing cases of Corona in this meeting.
Night curfew has been imposed in Maharashtra since March 28 to curb rising cases of infection. Thackeray said that I do not want to implement lockdown. But given the increasing number of corona-infected patients, health facilities are likely to decline.

In the last 24 hours, 6,123 new cases of Corona were registered in the country’s financial capital and 12 people lost their lives during this period. With this, the figure of corona infected patients in Mumbai rose to 3,91,751 and 11,64 people have died so far. The number of active cases here is 41,609.
At the same time, 35,726 new cases of corona virus have been reported from Corona across the state of Maharashtra on Saturday. The total number of corona infected patients in the state has risen to 26,73,461. So far, 3,03,475 cases of active cases and 23,14,579 people have been recovered in the state. While the death toll from this disease has increased to 54,073.
