Coronavirus Updates: The number of new corona infected patients in the country continues to fluctuate. In the last 24 hours, 25,072 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country and 389 people have died. This new case is the lowest in 160 days.

At the same time, on August 22, 30,487 new cases were reported and 403 people died.

According to the Health Ministry, the number of corona infected patients in the country has increased to 3,24,49,306. A total of 4,34,756 patients have died so far. In the last 24 hours, 44,157 corona infected patients have been cured in the country, while so far a total of 3,16,80,626 patients have recovered and gone to their homes. The number of active cases is 3,33,924. The recovery rate in the country has increased to 97.63 percent.

The government is emphasizing on vaccination to prevent the spread of corona virus infection. In the last 24 hours, 7,95,543 doses of corona virus vaccine have been administered. At the same time, the number of vaccinations has reached 58,25,49,595 so far.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 50,75,51,399 corona tests have been conducted since the start of the infection. At the same time, 12,95,160 Covid tests have been done yesterday i.e. on 22nd August.

Delhi’s condition

In the country’s capital Delhi, 24 new cases of corona virus were reported in the last 24 hours, 56 recoveries have taken place, not a single death has occurred. The total number of corona infected patients in the state is 14,37,317. The number of active cases is 398 and a total of 14,11,840 patients have been cured so far. At the same time, 25,079 patients have lost their lives due to corona virus in the state.
