BMW Motorrad India has launched the first edition of its new powerful bike R18 Classic in India today. The starting price of this bike is 24 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) which includes GST. The company is bringing this bike to India through Complete Built Unit (CBU) route. This is a touring bike that is much better than long drive.
In the BMW R18 Classic bike, the company has been given an engine of 1,802 cc capacity, which generates power of 91 bhp and torque of 158 Nm. Apart from this, the company has decorated this bike with advanced features with an attractive look. It has a larger windscreen, passenger seat, saddle bag, LED additional headlights, 16-inch front wheel and larger engine.
Apart from this, the bike has anti hopping clutch, rear wheel hoop, reverse gear with 6 speed transmission gearbox. With this, you will get three different driving modes in the bike which include rain, roll and rock. On the other hand, if you talk about safety features, this bike has features like automatic stability control, dynamic engine brake control, hill start system, keyless ignition, electronic cruise control.
BMW R18 Classic will get 3 years warranty
The company is also giving a total warranty of up to three years unlimited kilometer with this bike. Apart from this, this bike comes with 24 × 7 365 days road side assistance package. The company has designed this bike on a double frame and has a tiered drop style fuel tank.
Bike engine is more powerful than SUV
The engine of this bike gives power equal to the compact SUV present in the Indian market. If you talk about now, in the recently launched Nissan Magnite, the company has used a 1.0-liter capacity engine, which generates 72ps power and 96Nm torque. Apart from this, some other SUVs are also available in India that give this much power.
