There are 73 candidates who are millionaires. This means that they have declared assets of more than 1 crore rupees. Of these, 19 candidates of BJP, Congress 18, AJP 6, AIUDF 5, BPF and 3 candidates of AGP are crorepatis.
A total of 131 (38 per cent) candidates have declared their graduation or higher qualification. About 209 (61 per cent) candidates have stated their educational qualification between fifth to 12th standard. 2 candidates are diploma holders and three are just literate.
In the second phase of the Assam Legislative Assembly election, out of 345 candidates, Sirraf is 8 percent women. This means that 319 candidates are male, while only 26 are women.
