Last month, Appy Fizz and fruity drinks maker Parle Agro announced its re-entry in the dairy beverage category after 20 years with smooth flavored milks, thereby increasing competition in the value-added dairy beverage market.
Parle last month launched the smoothie in a pack of 85 ml at Rs 10. According to the company, there is equal demand for this product in urban and rural areas. In view of this, the company is contemplating to open 20 lakh outlets across India.
Television advertising will be supported by print, mobile and digital activities. The campaign will also be aggressively promoted during the Indian Premier League (IPL) on television starting in September.
The product has been launched in two variants – Chocolate Milk and Toffee Caramel. In the ad, Dhawan is seen in the dual role of Chocolate Varun and Toffee Caramel Varun, showcasing both their personalities in a dance-off challenge.
