The return of Indian people trapped in Afghanistan is being expedited. This morning 87 Indians have reached Delhi via 2 aircraft. One of these airplanes has reached Doha in Qatar, while the other has reached Delhi from Dusambe, the capital of Tajikistan.
At the same time, another aircraft of the Indian Air Force has taken off from Kabul today. In this a total of 168 people including 107 Indians have come. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has given this information. He has also posted a video clip in which people evicted from Kabul are seen shouting Bharat Mata ki Jai.
According to media reports, all passengers will have to undergo RT-PCR test after landing. At the same time, the Ministry of External Affairs says that more flights will be started to evacuate the Indian. According to an estimate, around 400 Indians may be trapped in Afghanistan. Efforts are being made to bring them to India as soon as possible.
Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft that took off from Kabul city in Afghanistan this morning has landed at Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad. There are 168 people on board, of which 107 are Indian nationals.
