16 Afghani corona infected who came from Kabul to Delhi, Hardeep Singh Puri came in contact

Out of 78 refugees brought to Delhi on Tuesday from Taliban-occupied Kabul, 16 people have been found to be Coronavirus Infected.

All these corona infected people have been admitted to LNJP Hospital in Delhi and rest have been kept at Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp in Chhawla, South West Delhi.

According to a circular issued by the Union Health Ministry, people coming from Afghanistan have to spend 14 days in quarantine at the ITBP camp. This circular further states that if a person is found to be corona infected or shows any symptoms, then they will be admitted to the Covid Care Center or the Covid Hospital of NCT.

Earlier on Tuesday, 78 people had come from Dushanbe to Delhi by Air India flight. In which 46 Afghan Sikhs and Hindus are included. There are three Sikhs in this who brought three copies of the Guru Granth Sahib. Union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and V Muraleedharan respectfully received three copies of the Guru Granth Sahib, the scripture of the Sikhs. During this, Hardeep Singh Puri came in contact with him. These passengers were welcomed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Please tell that about 200 more Afghan Sikhs and Hindus are still trapped in Afghanistan.
