Gold Price Today 25 February 2021: After the rally on Wednesday 24 February, the gold price fell on 25 February. Gold rate fell by Rs 110 to trade at Rs 47,730 per 10 grams on MCX on 25 February morning. The price of 22 carat gold in Delhi is falling by Rs 100 to trade at Rs 45,900 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 24 carat gold is reduced by Rs 90 to Rs 50,090 per 10 grams.
The price of 22 carat gold in Mumbai is Rs 45,770 per 10 grams and 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 46,770 per 10 grams. It has decreased by Rs 110.
In Kolkata, 22 carat gold is priced at Rs 46,220 per 10 grams and 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 49,970 per 10 grams. It has decreased by Rs 90. Talking about Chennai, the prices of 22 carat gold have decreased by Rs 110 and they are trading at Rs 44,170 per 10 grams. At the same time, 24 carat gold prices have fallen by Rs 130 to Rs 48,170 per 10 grams.
Gold and silver prices have fallen in the global market, which has also affected the domestic market.
How is gold move on MCX today?
Today, gold futures are trading on MCX. Gold prices have softened in the international market due to increase in bond yields in the US. Silver futures, on the other hand, continue to boom. Gold futures on MCX are trading at Rs 46,448 per 10 grams, down 0.16 per cent, or Rs 74. At the same time, silver futures are trading at Rs 69,996 per kg, up by 0.65 percent i.e. Rs 452.
The benchmark US Treasury Yields are at a year’s peak. Yield increases have reduced the value of both gold and dollar. The dollar’s value has fallen to a three-year low against the risky currency.
