LIC has registered an Indian Embedded Value (IEV) of Rs 5,41,492 crore as on March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 95,605 crore as on March 31, 2021. Embedded Value (EV) is a measure of the consolidated value of shareholders’ interest in a life insurance business.
Bharti Airtel
Bharti Airtel has said that it has allotted more than 71 million equity shares to internet major Google for Rs 734. The allotment is part of Google’s commitment to invest $100 million with Airtel, which includes an equity investment of $700 million in the company.
Tata Elxsi
Tata Elxsi’s profit grew 63 percent year-on-year in the June quarter to Rs 184.7 crore. At the same time, revenue increased by 30 percent to Rs 725.9 crore. EBITDA grew 58.8 per cent to Rs 2382 crore in Q1FY23.
ACC
Cement company ACC’s June quarter profit declined 60 percent year-on-year to Rs 227 crore. EBITDA declined by 51 per cent to Rs 426 crore, while margin declined 1310 bps to 9.7 per cent.
Cipla
Cipla’s subsidiary Cipla Health has signed definitive agreements with Medinabelle Herbalcare Pvt Ltd to acquire nutritional supplement brand Endura Mass in the weight gain category. Endura and all other associates will be part of the trademark acquisition.
