Mahindra Mahindra made big announcement, buy farmer tractors and get Rs 1 lakh health insurance

The country’s agricultural equipment maker Mahindra & Mahindra has made a big announcement for new customers buying tractors amid the second wave of corona virus epidemic.

The company has announced to provide health insurance of 1 lakh rupees to the farmers buying new tractors and pre-approved emergency financial support to the farmers.

The company has released this scheme for new customers in its M-Protect COVID-19 plan. The company says it aims to protect Mahindra’s new tractor customers and their families from the effects of the Corona virus.

M&M has said that the plan includes a health cover of Rs 1 lakh to customers through a unique COVID-19 Mediclaim Policy. With this, if the corona is infected, then home quarantine benefits will be given.

Apart from this, Mahindra & Mahindra’s Covid-19 plan will provide funds in the form of free approved loan for the expenses incurred in the treatment of Corona infected customer. The company has said that it will insure the loan of the customers under the Mahindra Loan Suraksha in case of loss of life.

The M-Protect COVID plan will be available on Mahindra’s full range of tractors purchased in May 2021, M&M said in a statement. The company’s president Hemant Sikka said that the M-Protect COVID plan is a new initiative aimed at farmers, as we stand with them to bring positive changes even in these difficult times.

He further stated that with M-Protect we have had the privilege of serving and supporting him to reduce the impact of an incident involving a COVID. With M-Protect we hope can help our farmers have a healthy life.

Shubhabrata Saha, CEO of M&M, said that May and June are special times for the farming community and they have faced many challenges due to Corona. He further said that the aim of our new M-Protect Covid Plan is to reduce the concerns of farmers as we support them in these important agricultural related months.
