    8306 new cases of corona were reported in the country

    In the last 24 hours, a decrease of 739 has been registered in the number of patients under treatment of Kovid-19. The national rate of recovery of patients is 98.35 percent.

    In the country, on December 19, these cases crossed one crore, on May 4 this year crossed two crores and on June 23, these cases had crossed three crores.

    After 8,306 new cases of Kovid-19 (Covid 19) were reported in India in a day, the number of infected in the country increased to 3,46,41,561. At the same time, the number of patients under treatment has come down to 98,416, which is the lowest in 552 days. According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Monday, the death toll rose to 4,73,537 after 211 more people died due to infection. The daily cases of Kovid-19 (Covid 19) in the country for 10 consecutive days are less than 10 thousand and for 162 days less than 50 thousand daily cases are being reported. The number of patients under treatment has come down to 98,416, which is 0.28 percent of the total cases of infection.

    This rate is the lowest since March 2020. In the last 24 hours, a decrease of 739 has been registered in the number of patients under treatment of Kovid-19. The national rate of recovery of patients is 98.35 percent.

    According to the data, the daily infection rate was recorded at 0.94 percent, which is less than two percent for the last 63 days. The weekly infection rate was recorded at 0.78 percent, which is less than one percent for the last 22 days. So far, a total of 3,40,69,608 people have become infection free in the country and the death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.37 percent. Under the nationwide vaccination campaign, more than 127.93 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far.

    Last year on August 7 the number of infected in the country had exceeded 20 lakhs, on August 23, 30 lakhs and on September 5, more than 40 lakhs. At the same time, the total cases of infection had crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November. In the country, on December 19, these cases crossed one crore, on May 4 this year it crossed two crore and on June 23, it crossed three crore.

    According to the data of the ministry, out of 211 people who died due to infection in the last 24 hours in the country, 161 were from Kerala, 10 each from Tamil Nadu and West Bengal and seven from Maharashtra.

    The Kerala government said in a press release on Sunday that out of 161 cases of death in the state, 23 were reported in the last few days. At the same time, 138 cases of death have been added to the cases of death from Kovid-19 on the basis of the new guidelines of the Center and the Supreme Court.

    According to the data, a total of 4,73,537 people have died due to infection in the country, out of which 1,41,170 in Maharashtra, 41,600 in Kerala, 38,230 in Karnataka, 36,529 in Tamil Nadu, 25,098 in Delhi, 22,911 in Uttar Pradesh and West There were 19,544 people from Bengal.

    The Health Ministry said that out of those who have died due to corona virus infection so far, more than 70 percent of the patients also had other diseases. The ministry said on its website that its data is being matched with the data of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
