Coal India has floated two medium term tenders for sourcing 6 million tonnes (MT) of coal from overseas. Its objective is to maintain domestic fuel supply even during monsoon. There is an option to increase the bid quantity by 100% to 12 MT in these two tenders for a total of 6 million tonnes of coal.
Lemon Tree Hotels
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a license agreement under its brand ‘Key Light by Lemon Tree Hotels’ for a 44-room hotel at Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The hotel is expected to be operational by March, 2023. Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a subsidiary and the company’s hotel management arm, will operate the hotel.
Strides Pharma
According to a USFDA report, Strides Pharma is recalling more than 6 lakh bottles of losartan potassium tablets, a blood pressure lowering drug, in the US market due to non-compliance with standard manufacturing norms.

Astron Paper & Board Mill’s Conso profit during the March quarter of FY 2022 has come down from Rs 6.8 crore to Rs 0.32 crore on a year-on-year basis. The company’s revenue fell from Rs 143.8 crore to Rs 143.2 crore during this period.
