Axis Bank changes FD interest rates, know what are the new rates

The country’s private sector bank Axis Bank has changed the interest rates on Fixed Deposits (FDs) from 7 days to 10 years. The bank has recently revised the interest rates for its domestic fixed deposits and NRI fixed deposits.

According to the information given in the official website of Axis Bank, the new interest rates of Axis Bank will be applicable from September 0, 2021. The minimum deposit amount in the bank through online mode is Rs 5,000 and if you want to deposit it by visiting the nearest branch, then Rs 10,000 will have to be made.

Know the new interest rates on FDs

Axis Bank is offering its customers new interest rates on FD ranging from 2.5 percent to 5.75 percent after the change. The same is providing interest ranging from 2.50 to 6.50 percent for senior citizens. The interest rate on Non-Resident External (NRE) deposits has also been increased from 5.10 per cent to 5.75 per cent now. This interest rate will be applicable on deposits up to Rs 5 crore.

30 days to 45 days – 3%

– 46 days to 60 days – 3%

– For more than 61 days and less than 3 months – 3%

– For more than 4 months and less than 5 months – 3.5 percent

– 6 months < 7 months - 4.40 percent

-7 months < 8 months – 4.40 percent

-8 months < 9 months - 4.40 percent

– 9 months < 10 months - 4.40 percent

-11 months 25 days < 1 year - 4.40 percent
